Artistic Expressions Photography (AEphoto) is a St. Louis area photographer specializing in high school seniors,
weddings and portraits. We service the entire St. Louis metro area, including illinois. Our photo sessions are done
on-location utilzing an outdoor environment and natural sunlight for stunning images you just can't get in a studio.
Choose from Forest Park, downtown St. Louis, Main Street in Lebanon, IL, the St. Louis Arch, and many more places
to have your portrait session! We will even come to your home, whether you are located in Missouri or Illinois. We
are located in O'Fallon, Illinois and service the entire St. Louis metro area. We also offer studio sessions upon request.
The studio we use is located in south St. Louis city and offers as variety of backgrounds and props to suit your needs.

Husband and wife photographers Scott and Melissa Federhofer have over 7 years of experience in the portrait and

Together, we’ll plan every aspect of your portrait session. I’ll start by asking about your
vision, preferences, and needs, and we’ll discuss possible locations, color/clothing
selection, and scheduling. For small children, it’s best to select a time when they’re
rested, comfortable, and ready to play with someone new.

Once we schedule your session, I’ll email you confirmation of our appointment and an
contract. Complete and return the contract (with payment) within 5 days to hold your
date.

Outdoors: Favorite locations include Forest Park, Main Street Lebanon, Downtown St. Louis,
and others. Also, don’t overlook your very own front- or backyard.

Studio Sessions: My studio is located in south St. Louis City. A studio session is ideal for
formal and professional portraits, as well as for graphically bold portraits. Studio sessions
are perfect for Christmas portraits, special set-ups and props, and when the weather just
won't cooperate.

Inside your home: For portrait sessions with babies, your home is the very best location —
let me come to you! Some of the my most widely successful portraits were taken at home
with only window light. When we schedule your session, we’ll discuss which areas in your
home get the best light. If necessary, I’ll bring portable lights.

Babies and young children: If you love the way they look in an outfit, and they enjoy
wearing it, that’s a great place to start. Just a diaper is another adorable option. And if they
don’t mind clothing changes, I’m happy to photograph them in a variety of “looks.” All
clothes should be clean and unwrinkled, and should fit well. If the session will be at your
home, or if you bring several outfits to our location, I can help you choose.

Seniors: Bring 2 more outfits than your session allows. I will help you pick the perfect
combintaion for the setting we are in. A variety of looks is recommended - dressy, casual,
urban, funky, mismatched, etc. If you are involved in sports or activities at school, don't
forget to bring your uniform/instrument/equipment/accessories that represent who you are!

Groups/Family: Please coordinate your look - favorites that work well are jeans and white or
black t-shirts or khaki's and pastel shirts. Please choose solid, muted colors for classic,
timeless images. If you would like to experiment with bright colors/patterns, please bring
them along and I will help you decide what will work best.

scarves, large, gaudy
necklaces, goofy sunglasses,
your child's favorite stuffed
animal, tutu's, fairy wings,
crowns...you get the idea!
Not for kids only! Seniors can
get some really unique
pictures with accessories!

Within three weeks of your session, I will post your images on your very own, private
website with a secure shopping cart for convenient, safe print ordering. Proofing images
will be color corrected, but not artworked. Any ordered prints will be masterfully re-touched
to remove blemishes, tame flyaway hair, soften skin, and enhance eyes. You will receive a
mix of black and white, color and sepia images to choose from. Don't forget to share your
gallery with friends and family! Galleries expire after 60 days.
